Pacific Coast Polo League 2012
What is it?
The Pacific Coast Polo League is a competition where polo players from different clubs have the opportunity to compete throughout the season for year end awards. Players do not need to participate in every tournament to be eligible.
Levels
There will be 3 divisions for players to compete in, as well as overall high point.
The divisions are as follows:
- -2 to 0 (4 chukkars)
- 0 to 2 (4 chukkars)
- Open (4 chukkars)
All participants must be USPA members. USPA Handicaps will be applied.
Entry Fee
$100 for season – league fee is over and above the
individual club tournament fees. It will be used for the league prizes, and any
left over will offset the cost of the awards banquet.

- July 8 Poway (at SDPC) Del Mar
- August 4 Bel Air Polo Club Los Angeles
- September 8 Central Coast Polo San Luis Obispo
- October 13 California Polo Club
- Awards Banquet Date/Time/Location to be Determined
Umpires
Use of professional umpires will be left to individual club discretion. In the event
of a problem, the tournament committee reserves the right to require use of
professional umpires.
Awards
Awards shall be provided for the following categories:
(Awards are based on highest number of points in each category)
- Champion and Reserve Champion Overall Player
- -2 to 0 Goal Student High Point Champion and Reserve
- 0 to 2 Goal High Point Champion and Reserve
- Open Goal High Point Champion and Reserve
- Most Valuable Player
- Best Playing Pony
- Best Sportsmanship
